Vice President of Human Resources
Lisa Reese currently serves as Vice President for Human Resources for Care Design NY. She was one of the first four employees when Care Design NY started in 2018. She grew the human resources department for the new organization and developed the recruiting, employee benefits, employee relations, and general human resources policies and procedures for the organization. Today, she leads a talented team of 10 individuals.
Prior to joining the Care Design NY team, she served as Human Resources Director for Catholic Charities Disabilities Services (CCDS) for eight years. Lisa’s experience spans 35 years of experience in Human Resources in fields such as intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD), health care, and hospitality. Lisa has an in-depth understanding of human resource policy and practices and how it applies in many different business environments. She contributes an important voice to the application of Human Resources at Care Design NY and understands the importance of balancing the needs of the employees with the financial limitations that are inherent in a non-profit environment. Her leadership and the leadership and direction she provides to her team and the executive leadership team has helped to establish an employee friendly organization that is welcoming and responsive.
Lisa has a B.S. in Marketing and Management from Siena College. She also holds the designation as a SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) from HRCI and a certification from SHRM as a Senior Certified Professional (SCP).
